The Cow Creek Watershed Management Group (CCWMG) is
a nonprofit organization formed by citizens within the Cow
Creek Watershed. Their mission is to use the resources of the
Cow Creek Watershed in a way to meet the needs of today
without infringing on the needs of future generations.
The Cow Creek Watershed exceeds 275,000 acres of California
Headwaters (larger than the state of Delaware), and is well
known as vital source of water for Ranchers, Farmers, an abundance
of wildlife. The headwater creeks and streams provide a
major water source for the Sacramento River and those who
rely on it.
